The lawsuit included allegations of invasion of privacy and assault. Bryan Castellanos claimed that Lt. Fidel Espinoza sent him lewd texts and social media messages. According to Castellanos’ attorney, the messages described Espinoza performing sexual acts and asking for Castellanos’ involvement.
Espinoza allegedly asked Castellanos inappropriate questions about his genitals and requested explicit photos. In April 2018, Espinoza reportedly followed Castellanos into a bathroom and took a photo of him in a compromising position. Castellanos’ attorney claimed that Espinoza sent this photo to Castellanos and continued sending other explicit images.
Additionally, Espinoza allegedly sent sexually charged messages to Castellanos’ wife, Leila, asking intimate questions about their marriage. These allegations highlighted repeated, unwelcome conduct and raised serious concerns about Espinoza’s behavior.
